We have always enjoyed working with gay men and women and have a history of supporting lesbians to become mothers. In fact, in the last month, we have had two clients give birth to healthy babies; one of whom was single and used donor sperm from Denmark to achieve pregnancy in IVF, and another who was married and whom used a UK sperm donor for an IUI cycle.
There are many routes to parenthood for same sex couples and increasingly we are hearing about ‘shared motherhood’. Read more here. This has worked well for another client of ours. One of my first lesbian couples, whom educated me greatly about home insemination, actually both conceived in the same month- one having IVF with donor sperm through the clinic and the other by making contact with an internet based donor and using DIY IUI. That they both achieved pregnancy so quickly came as a bit of a shock and I love the fact that they had their two children within the same month.
Whatever method you decide to follow to achieve pregnancy, we are here to help. We can help to regulate menstrual cycles, to prompt ovulation and to encourage implantation to occur where a healthy embryo has been created.
